Unlike the Dragons of mythology, SASSIE Dragon isn’t content to lie pompously on its accomplishments in a dark and remote cave (and yes, grammar police, I DID google “lie vs lay” to make sure I was using the right verb).
SASSIE Dragon doesn’t wait around for knights, hobbits, White Walkers or competing mystery shopping platforms to overtake it.
SASSIE Dragon is constantly on the move, looking for new challenges to conquer and new widgets to acquire so you and your clients always have the newest technology and the flashiest baubles to adorn your reports with.
Version 20 in particular has three new visually distinctive widgets that can instantly freshen up the look of any dashboard, so let’s leave this parade of dragon metaphors before it reaches peak ludicrous-ness and take a look at our new treasures …
1) Magic Quadrants (NEW WIDGET!)
Boldly plot performance across two metrics with this impactful widget
A year ago we developed an internal profitability report that graphically showed performance for two metrics on one chart. It was simple, yet elegant … and it completely changed the way we view our own business.
Now we’re making this technology available to you and your clients:
Pick two metrics (in this case, the Greeting Score and Overall score)
Place the crosshairs at the scores that are considered “acceptable” (in this case, a VERY generous 50% score on Greeting and 50% on Overall Score)
Set the Heat Mapping levels to show which locations are doing well(green), doing poorly(red), etc. in BOTH metrics
2) Net Promoter Score® Trending (NEW WIDGET)
Show trends in NPS Promoters and Detractors
Our new NPS Trending widget shows changes in this popular metric over time in three different ways. Of particular interest is the “stacked bar chart” (with the green, yellow and red bars) which shows the actual breakdown of the responses instead of simply the average.
3) Word Cloud (for Narrative or Text Questions) : NEW WIDGET!
Our Click-Through feature adds real value to Word Clouds
We’ve all seen Word Clouds before – they’re colorful and show some single word trends, but to be honest we resisted adding Word Clouds to Dragon until we found a way to make them truly useful.
Dragon’s Word Clouds allow you to go beyond mere “word candy” and hover over a word to see how frequently it has been used … AND to click on it to view the actual shops that used that word.
Now you can offer Word Clouds that show actionable data!
4) Company Overview : Comparison Bar
Add a second bar to your Company Overview Widget
Show twice the data! Set a second data focus in Company Overview to show Overall Score and a Sectional Score, or Overall Score and a single Question Score.
5) Recent Evaluations : now with Section and Question Scores
The Recent Evaluations widget can now report on section or question scores. These options are found in widget settings under Data Focus.
6) Disable Classic Reports Link
Hide those Classic Reports and keep your clients focused on Dragon content
It’s no secret that the future of SASSIE reporting is solidly in the advancement of the Dragon platform and we’ve heard that many of you have clients that you’d prefer to NEVER see the old Classic reports.
Now you can hide Classic Reports by disabling their link:
7) Deactivated Locations: now indicated with asteriskes
Deactivated locations in Dragon are now indicated with an asterisk:
8) Kaizen Action Item Progress : now with Click Through
Find all shops with Kaizen Action Items on the Progress chart with a single click!
In this example, we’re displaying all shops with Kaizen Action Items that are 3 or more days late:
9) Custom Date Range Names: Now can handle apostrophes (without catastrophes!)
10) Custom Date Range Labels : Now show your labels (e.g. “Quarter”, “Month”) instead of the generic defaults ( “Small”, “Medium”, “Large”)
