Let’s kick it off with the official release of our first SASSIE X Report, the “Shopper Flex” report. It’s our first public release of the groundbreaking technologies that we’ll be using in SASSIE X reporting for years to come and we’d love for you to take a look and let us know what you think.
Three things to know right off the bat:
1) We decided to start off with a shopper report for YOUR people rather than a mystery shop report for your client for several reasons:
- We’ve never given you a real report on your shopper database before. Now you’ll easily be able to answer questions such as “In each state, how many females with MSPA Gold certification who have done a shop do we have?”, etc.
- Using clients as guinea pigs for brand new technology is generally a suicidal idea!
- We wanted to test new kinds of data: The killer feature of SASSIE X’s “Flex Report” technology is that you can put any kind of data into the engine and it’ll spit out a report based on that data. We figured shopper data is dramatically different than mystery shop data (i.e. hundreds of thousands of shoppers vs. maybe thousands of shops, shopper demographics instead of scoring sections, etc ..) and would be a better test of how “FLEX-y” our technology was.
2) This report is made accessible only on a person by person basis. We figured you wouldn’t necessarily want everyone in your company to see detailed information on your entire shopper database. If you would like to be granted access to this report, please have one of the principals or senior managers in your company submit a request in the tracker and we’ll turn it on for you.
3) The shopper data in these reports are updated periodically, NOT continuously, so if some new shoppers sign up today you might not see their data included for a few days. We’re still working on a way to keep hundreds of thousands of shopper accounts in sync (BORING TECHIE TALK : SASSIE X’s Flex Reports work off a dedicated reporting servers on the Amazon cloud, so we have to copy all the data from the current SASSIE servers in Boston up to the Cloud).

To use the report:
1) If you haven’t already, have a principal or senior manager post a request for you to have access to this report in the tracker.

To access the report : Log in as yourself (again, this report is only activated for individual people) and go to the Shopper Tools menu. Select “Shopper Flex”:

Thanks for your feedback – it will help us with our current development of the next few SASSIE X report, “Level Flex”, which will apply the same technology to location and level based reports (similar to Company Overview and Location Wizard).
