The Question Correlation widget shows the relationship between two scores.
You can configure the widget to find the correlation between overall score, sectional scores, or individual questions.
A high correlation means that two sets of data are strongly related.
Correlations range from 0% to 100%. A 0% correlation means the two data sets are not related at all, a 100% correlation means the data sets are perfectly correlated.
The strength thresholds are:
0 = none
0.1 – 20 = negligible
20.1 – 30 = weak
30.1 – 50 = moderate
50.1 – 70 = strong
70.1 – 99.9 = very strong
100 = perfect
Direct correlation means that as one value increases, the other value also increases.
Inverse correlation means that as one value decreases, the other value increases.
