Kiosk Brancher
Wouldn’t it be great if you could cut out the middleman and handle something like, say, kiosk branching mano-a-mano (err, mano-a-software)? That’s exactly what our new Kiosk setting lets you do. Now you can bid adios to the middleman (us) and upload and configure your own kiosk branching file–saving you time and money!
To use this feature, you must first enable kiosk shops (under Kiosk Settings on the Survey Settings page). Then check the “Enable Brancher” checkbox (aka the “Stickin’ it to the Middleman” checkbox):
Then click “Upload your Brancher Config file” (pictured above) to access the instructional page which includes a downloadable template which will allow you to configure your branching in the correct format:
Once the form is uploaded, you can test it by running through a Sample Kiosk Shop from the Survey Settings Screen:
PLEASE NOTE:
- Branching will work on kiosk forms regardless of whether or not you have ICR-D.
- Branching does not work on text questions, only multi-choice questions.
- You must know the Question ID, the Answer Option ID (If Yes, No, NA, then 1, 2, 3, respectively) and resulting page number.
-
The form must have Page Breaks, and the Page Breaks must be enabled on Shopper Edit View:
We’re Expanding!
SurfMerchants is pleased to announce the continuing expansion of our team with the addition of 7 talented new staff members:
- Ben Nowak (Accounting)
- Bryan Winter (Technical Support)
- Cara Cunningham (Technical Support)
- Ryan McClure (Software Developer)
- Michal Lauf (Project Manager)
- Ken Morino (Project Manager)
- Ron McOwen (Project Manager)
We are all thrilled to welcome these new faces (except maybe Matthew, whose desk now resides in the storage closet cozy corner office with fabulous wall-to-wall shelving), and are actively in the process of interviewing several other candidates to add to our ever-growing team. Our continued expansion is intended to strengthen our capabilities across every department: from innovative product development, to our ability to provide you the highest level of service and support. Over the course of the next few SASSIE News releases, I will be including an “Employee Spotlight” to introduce you to each of our new team members. Stay tuned!
Best wishes,
